Tender announcement for the co-financing of photovoltaic power plants for households

By the end of this year, the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets plans to publish new conditions for a public call for energy renovation of family houses, with applications to be received in the first quarter of 2024.

In 2023, funds in the amount of EUR 50 million will be provided for the purpose of energy renovation of family houses and EUR 25 million for the purpose of energy renovation of family houses of citizens at risk of energy poverty, and in 2024 funds will be provided in the amount of EUR 70 million, for the purpose of energy renovation of family houses.

Co-financing rates will be up to 60% for energy renovation of family houses not damaged in the earthquake, up to 80% for energy renovation of family houses damaged in the earthquake and up to 100% for energy renovation of family houses of citizens at risk of energy poverty.

Architect Željka Hrs Borković advises: "The first step in starting the energy renovation of a building is the preparation of project documentation. To apply for co-financing from domestic or EU funds, you need to have ready documentation: energy audit, preparation of reports and issuance of an energy certificate, and the main project of energy renovation of the building with a cost list of works and project prices. Project documentation is prepared by authorized designers, and the certificate by authorized energy certifiers. If only the outer envelope of the building is being renovated, a main architectural project is required, and if the heating, cooling and lighting system is changed and renewable energy sources are introduced, make a mechanical and electrical project. For family houses, the procedure was simpler until now, only an energy certificate and a contractor's offer were required, but in this case too, it is recommended to make the main project as well."
